We're a doctor-led cosmetic medicine clinic in Rockhampton, serving Central Queensland and the Capricorn Coast. Every treatment is performed by Dr Kirk himself, following a proper consultation and assessment — the doctor who assesses you is the doctor who treats you.
Why we exist
Hillview was established on a conviction that cosmetic treatment should be held to the standards of medicine — considered, conservative, and honest. That means unhurried consultations, clear information about risks as well as benefits, and the willingness to recommend against a treatment when it isn't right for you. We're conservative by nature: we'd always rather do a little less and keep you looking like yourself.

Dr Michael Kirk is an AHPRA-registered doctor with a background in public health and medical services governance in Central Queensland. Before founding Hillview Aesthetics, he spent much of his career in senior medical and public-health roles — the kind of work concerned with how clinical care is governed, made safe, and held to a consistent standard.
His ongoing work in general practice keeps whole-patient care — full history, contraindications, and knowing when treatment isn't the right answer — at the centre of every assessment.
He established Hillview on a simple conviction: that cosmetic treatment is medicine, and deserves the same rigour, honesty and duty of care as any other part of your health. That belief isn't a slogan for him — it's the standard he's spent his career applying elsewhere, now brought to a field where it too often goes missing.
Every treatment begins with a proper consultation, where he takes the time to understand your concerns, assess what is genuinely suitable, and talk openly about the options, the potential risks and the results you can realistically expect. His approach is deliberately unhurried — he'd always rather do a little less and keep you looking like yourself, and if a treatment isn't right for you, he'll say so.
